about
George Gershwin celebrated bluesy jazz in "Porgy and Bess" in which "Summertime" is an aria. Here it's transformed from the usual ballad into a driving up-tempo latin arrangement, oscillating between 6/8 and 3/4 and then jumping suddenly into 4/4 swing. Listen for Justin's electric bass solo. My favorite.
